Asparagus and Mushroom Bagel


Featuring: Lisa’s Gloriously Garlic Hummus
Serves: 1 person
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes


  • 4 Tbl of Lisa’s Gloriously Garlic Hummus
  • 1 bagel split in half
  • 3 spears of fresh asparagus cut into small rounds
  • 4 button mushrooms cut into small squares
  • 1 Tbl of quality mayonnaise
  • lemon juice squeezed from ¼ lemon
  • ¼ cup of watercress
  • sea salt and cracked black pepper


  • Cook diced mushrooms and asparagus in a pot of boiling salted water for 1 minute
  • Drain well under running cold water and chill in the fridge
  • In a bowl mix together vegetables, lemon juice, mayonnaise, and seasoning
  • Toast split bagels under the grill and spread on hummus, top with mayonnaise mix and picked watercress
  • Available at all major supermarkets.
